Police officers train for G8 summit in Belfast

Police officers from across the UK have been training at Longmoor Training Camp in Hampshire ahead of the G8 Summit in Fermanagh on the 17-18 June 2013.

Officers have been trained in tasks such as how to quickly embark and disembark from an armoured police Land Rover in full riot kit to facing a hostile crowd throwing petrol bombs, tactics not commonly used in Britain.
