Colin Parry: I have not forgiven the IRA for killing my son

Colin Parry, whose 12-year-old son Tim was killed by an IRA bomb in Warrington in 1993, has explained why he invited Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness to deliver a peace lecture marking the 20th anniversary of the atrocity.

Mr Parry told BBC Breakfast: "I haven't forgiven the IRA for killing Tim, nor has anybody in my family and we never will."

However, the peace campaigner added that "most people" had reacted positively to his decision to invite Northern Ireland's deputy first minister to speak at the centre he set up to honour the Warrington victims.
