Haass proposals: Hopes for agreement before Christmas
Former US diplomat Richard Haass and vice-chair Dr Meghan O'Sullivan have given an update on the talks taking place to resolve the issues of parades, flags and the past in Northern Ireland.
Dr O'Sullivan said they expected a third draft proposal to be prepared and presented on Sunday, with further plenary sessions on Monday.
Mr Haass said real progress had been made on parades and the past, but that it would be a real loss for the people of Northern Ireland if the panel was unable to come to a successful conclusion.
