Denis Bradley: On-the run scheme briefing at NI Policing Board
Former NI Policing Board vice-chairman Denis Bradley has said that he was surprised to hear that Unionists were not aware of the on-the-run cases as a detailed briefing on the scheme had been given to the Policing Board.
Mr Bradley, who was also co-chair of the Consultative Group on the Past, said the scheme was referred to at Policing Board meetings and in the Eames-Bradley report.
His comments come as First Minister Peter Robinson threatened to resign, saying he was not prepared to continue his role whilst being kept in the dark.
