Stormont pays tribute to former First Minister Ian Paisley

The first and deputy first ministers have paid tribute to former first minister and DUP leader Ian Paisley at Stormont.

As a mark of respect, Northern Ireland Assembly business has been suspended as MLAs pay tributes in the chamber.

First Minister and DUP leader Peter Robinson said: "Ulster will never see the like of him again".

Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness said that the pair had grown to like each other after years of dislike and he had "lost a friend".
