"No provision" for welfare penalty in draft budget

Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson has said that the draft budget did not contain provision for a welfare penalty in 2015.

He added that the issue over welfare reform was a matter for the current round of all-party talks, and a matter for the government.

On Thursday, the Northern Ireland Executive agreed next year's draft budget but of the five parties, only the DUP and Sinn Féin voted to support the deal.
