WW2 veteran's 70-year wait for recognition from Russia comes to an end

Thousands of men lost their lives on the Arctic convoys during World War Two, drowning in freezing seas, trying to get supplies from Britain to the eastern front.

Seventy years later Russia has awarded special Ushakov medals to surviving veterans from Northern Ireland.

BBC News NI's Andy West went to meet one veteran, Tommy Jess, who received a medal for bravery.
