Fugitive prisoner caught at pub in Belfast

A prisoner who escaped from custody in the Republic of Ireland has been found and arrested in Belfast.

Derek Brockwell, 53, was taken into custody at a city centre pub after PSNI officers used a Taser.

Police said when officers approached him, Brockwell took out a knife and began stabbing himself in the abdomen and police had to use a Taser on him.
