Cars break down after fuel mix-up in Bangor, County Down

A car garage owner described how two cars broke down on a main road after an apparent fuel-mix up at a store in Bangor in County Down at the weekend.

Mark Thompson said that if the vehicles broke down on a motorway rather than a high road, it would have been more serious.

A number of customers said their cars had broken down on Saturday after using pumps at the station in Bloomfield.

On Tuesday, Tesco said it was investigating what had happened.
