Acting First Minister Arlene Foster has described comments made by Northern Ireland Secretary Theresa Villiers in the House of Commons as "a holding statement".

On Tuesday, Ms Villiers said establishing a new body to monitor paramilitary activity in Northern Ireland could help mend the stalled peace process.
