Bombardier hopeful for Northern Ireland operation's future

Bombardier Vice-President Michael Ryan has said Northern Ireland will still play a key role in the firm's global operation.

He said the technology and processes the firm is investing in are a key part of the company's future in Northern Ireland.

Mr Ryan told BBC News NI Economics and Business Editor John Campbell that the firm needed to take advantage of lower cost countries to compete in a global market.
