Strikes: 'We're not being offered a living wage'

There was disruption to services including school transport and meals on Monday when more than 2,000 members of the Unite union walked out on strike.

They are taking action in a dispute over pay.

Members of the union say the offer of a 1.75% does not even mean they would be earning a "living wage" given the rising cost of living.
