Naomi Long 'serious' about making Stormont work

Alliance leader Naomi Long was elected in Belfast East with 8,195 first preference votes.

She said: "It seems to be a very positive day for the party.

"Unusually for the assembly, we've never actually lost an assembly seat - so that says something about how we've managed our campaigns over the years and hopefully this year too."
