Connswater Shopping Centre closes after water comes through the roof

Connswater Shopping Centre in east Belfast was forced to close on Monday afternoon after flooding was caused by water coming in through the roof.

It is understood heavy rain caused the damage.

The centre will reopen on Tuesday after work goes on inside the centre to clean up the flooding.

Footage shows rain coming through the roof, leading to large puddles of water on the floor of the centre.
