Omagh police shooting: Eyewitness recounts John Caldwell shooting

Peter Gormley was training with the Omagh Harriers running group at the Youth Sports complex when Det Ch Insp John Caldwell was shot on Wednesday evening.

He and a number of his club colleagues, including a GP, assisted Mr Caldwell after the shooting until an ambulance arrived.

Mr Gormley also told BBC News NI about the initial panic straight after the shooting.
