County Down: Dozens of sheep rescued from flooded field
A major rescue operation was launched to rescue dozens of sheep trapped in a flooded field in County Down.
The animals were trapped in rising water after very heavy rain in Northern Ireland.
The fire and rescue service was despatched to the scene in Dromantine to bring the final 30 sheep to safety after about 70 were rescued by farmers.
The animals' owner said he suspected they would be staying well clear of the field until the summer.
