Pakistan plays down David Cameron terror comments

Officials in both Pakistan and the UK are playing down the impact of the comments made by David Cameron on relations between the countries.

Pakistani security agents cancelled a UK visit after Mr Cameron said the country was linked with groups that "promote the export of terror".

But a visit by President Asif Ali Zardari will go ahead as planned, with Pakistani officials saying any confusion over their commitment to tackling terrorism will be cleared up then.
