Liam Fox: UK military faces 'years of cuts'
Britain's military will have to make budget cuts for many years to come, according to Defence Secretary Liam Fox.
Mr Fox made his remarks during a visit to Afghanistan, where two new Tornado jets are due to be deployed - despite the future of the fleet being at risk from the cuts.
The defence budget has already come under pressure, with Chancellor George Osborne insisting that the £20bn cost of renewing the UK's Trident nuclear deterrent must be found from the MoD's budget.
