Andy Burnham: 'Where is this money coming from?'

Children from the poorest homes in England are to receive 15 hours of pre-school education a week from the age of two and extra help once they start school.

The government says it is investing £7bn over the next four years in helping talented young people break out of lives of disadvantage.

Shadow education secretary Andy Burnham said the idea "sounded good" but asked for more clarity on where the money was coming from to pay for the initiative.
