Chancellor George Osborne opens Spending Review speech

Chancellor George Osborne opens his Spending Review saying he plans to put the UK on the "hard road to a better future".

He also reveals the UK is paying £43bn a year in debt interest and claimed the former government had made no plans to make any savings.
