AV referendum could be delayed, James Landale explains

BBC Deputy Political Editor James Landale explains why the alternative vote (AV) referendum due to be held on 5 May could be delayed.

He told Andrew Neil the vote on bringing in the AV system could be postponed as Labour peers are holding up the progress of the bill which would enable it to happen.

It would have to become a parliamentary act by mid-February for the referendum to take place on time.
