The Oscar winning actress confirmed she had been approached by Clint Eastwood to play opposite Leonardo DiCaprio as J Edgar Hoover's mother in a big budget biopic about the notorious FBI director. She said she had been "thrilled" by the phone call.
Dame Judi Dench will also be appearing in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean film alongside Johnny Depp.
