Soldier's mother: 'I wanted to look Blair in the face'

Rose Gentle, whose son Gordon died in the Iraq war said she had always wanted to look "straight in the face" of Tony Blair - the man who, she said, sent her son to the conflict.

She spoke to the BBC's Emily Maitlis after the former prime minister's second appearance at the Iraq war inquiry.

Mr Blair said he regretted "deeply and profoundly the loss of life" during and after the Iraq war - but his words were met with cries of "too late" from the public gallery.
