Human Rights Act could hamper Bill of Rights plans

Existing legislation could tie politicians in a knot if they try to introduce a British Bill of Rights.

Labour and the Liberal Democrats looked at a written constitution in their manifestos. The Conservatives did not, but do want to replace the Human Rights Acts with a Bill of Rights.

Giles Dilnot spoke to Conservative MPs Dominic Raab and Jesse Norman while escapologist Merlin helped him unravel potential problems.
