Maude: Miliband should apologise for his government's legacy
Labour leader Ed Miliband said that Prime Minister David Cameron's Big Society policy was a "failure" and a return to the Thatcherite policies of the 1980s.
But the Cabinet Office minister Francis Maude, who is directly responsible for putting the Mr Cameron's Big Society vision into practice, told the BBC's Politics Show that Mr Miliband should apologise "for the appalling legacy that his government left when he was at the heart of it".
