Prime minister David Cameron announces Royal Wootton Bassett

The Wiltshire town of Wootton Bassett is to be given the title of "royal" in recognition of its efforts to honour the UK's war dead, Prime Minister David Cameron told the House of Commons.

Mr Cameron added that from September 2011 funeral processions will no longer pass through Wootton Bassett.
