Budget 2011: Kennedy, Lamont and Cooper give their reaction
Chancellor George Osborne has cancelled next month's planned 4p rise in fuel duty in what he has billed his "Budget for growth".
A further 1p will be cut from pump prices at 6pm - all paid for by a £2bn tax on oil companies.
He also froze alcohol duties and air duty - but increased tobacco tax by 2%.
Former Lib Demy leader Charles Kennedy, former Chancellor Norman Lamont and Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper have given their reaction to the Budget.
