Scottish police seek talks with Moussa Koussa over Lockerbie

The Foreign Secretary William Hague has insisted there will be no immunity from prosecution for his Libyan counterpart Moussa Koussa.

Mr Koussa arrived in London last week and declared he was no longer prepared to represent his country's regime.

He is now staying in a safe house at an undisclosed location.

Scottish police and prosecutors want to talk to Mr Koussa about the 1988 Lockerbie bombing in which 270 people died and will be meeting with Foreign Office officials on Monday to discuss the Libyan defector.

The Scottish Justice Secretary, Kenny MacAskill, said the file on the Lockerbie bombing is still open.
