Caroline Flint on coalition government NHS 'incompetence'
Former public health minister Caroline Flint accused Andrew Lansley and the government of incompetence and failures in plans for NHS changes in England.
She told BBC One's Politics Show the changes had been "a complete distraction for 10 months".
David Cameron and Nick Clegg are to make a new drive to promote their planned changes - including culling regional strategic health authorities and transferring many responsibilities for buying and planning local services from trusts to GPs - amid fears they have yet to convince voters that change is necessary.
