Simon Hughes: Health plans need 'fundamental change'

Liberal Democrat Deputy Leader Simon Hughes said Andrew Lansley's NHS plans are not likely to go ahead in their present form and needed "fundamental change".

He told Jon Sopel on the Politics Show: "I don't think we can go ahead with the plans as they are in the bill."

His comments came after Nick Clegg said that "no bill is better than a bad one".
