Speaker John Bercow divides House of Commons

Bobby Friedman, who has published a biography of John Bercow, claimed the Speaker was "doing quite a good job" but would be more vulnerable than his predecessors in a time of crisis as his reputation divided MPs.

Conservative Lord Parkinson recalled a riot organised by Mr Bercow, and Labour's Hazel Blears admitted to loving the Speaker - after the panel watched some of his livelier exchanges in the Commons and a 1981 Question Time appearance.
