Tony Benn recalls battle to stay in Commons
Tony Benn recalled his fight to stay in the House of Commons after he became a Lord on the death of his father. He compared how to get into the Houses of Parliament today and in years gone by.He said: "I do believe in democracy and I believe in an elected Parliament."
The former MP spoke in the studio with Jo Coburn. Andrew Pierce and Kevin Maguire after his Changemakers film was aired.
