'Authentically great' Reagan
Peggy Noonan was one of President Reagan's closest aides and most influential speech writer. She is a columnist for the Wall Street Journal.
She will be attending the unveiling of a statue of President Ronald Reagan in London tomorrow.
Speaking on the Andrew Marr show Peggy Noonan discusses the legacy of President Reagan and what it was like working so closely to him.
She said "we never felt we were working with what we'd been given, we felt we had gone to work for a man we thought authentically great".
Commenting on his innate optimism she said "it was a kind of faith".
