Gove on free schools and profits
Education Secretary Michael Gove has denied reports that he had hoped to allow free schools to make profits in the future, claiming he and the Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg are in "complete agreement" over the issue.
Mr Gove told The Andrew Marr Show there was no need for the change "at the moment."
Gove also claimed the biggest barrier to the success of free schools was not profit-making ability, but planning laws which restrict the growth of the education sector.
