Cameron: 'We just don't agree on Litvinenko issue'
David Cameron is in Moscow to try to repair Britain's relationship with Russia. The two countries fell out after a critic of the Kremlin, Alexander Litvinenko, was murdered in London in 2006.
Giving a speech in Moscow, Mr Cameron said relations between Britain and Russia had been difficult, but he wanted a new approach based on co-operation. He said: "The [Litvinenko] issue hasn't been parked. The fact is the two governments don't agree."
The Russian President, Dmitri Medvedev, said that politicising a legal case was always damaging. He said both countries should continue to work together despite any legal differences of opinion.
