David Cameron prepares to address UN General Assembly

The prime minister will use a speech at the United Nations to encourage world leaders to take advantage of the massive opportunity presented by the Arab Spring.

The Palestinian bid for full statehood is also expected to dominate the visit, with the UK prime minister holding talks with several world leaders, including US President Barack Obama.

David Cameron has also been promoting British businesses in New York ahead of next year's Olympic Games.
