Economic strategy questioned by senior Conservative

The government is not doing enough to promote economic growth, according to senior Conservative MP Andrew Tyrie.

Mr Tyrie, who is chair of the Commons Treasury committee, has called for tax cuts for businesses and says the government is pursuing policies more suited to an age of abundance rather than austerity.
