Tory conference: Warsi puns over May cat comments

The Conservative Party chairman made a series of feline jokes in her conference speech appearing to refer to the home secretary's controversy over a cat.

Theresa May claimed on Tuesday that an illegal immigrant was allowed to stay in the country by using the Human Rights Act and citing his cat - but later there were conflicting stories over the accuracy of the story.

On Wednesday, Baroness Warsi, who admitted a few days ago that she sometimes says things that get her in trouble, made a series of cat puns in a conference speech, although few delegates laughed.
