Nigel Planer on playing Peter Mandelson and Michael Howard

Actor Nigel Planer says he would like to portray the Conservative MP Michael Howard and recreate his "something of the night", but has no wish to play Adam Werritty in any future drama.

He speaks to Andrew Neil, Michael Portillo and Alan Johnson about the increasing role of special advisers in government, just before he is due to play Peter Mandelson in a new Channel 4 Comic Strip show on Friday night.
