Report concludes Liam Fox breached ministerial code

A report has concluded the former Defence Secretary, Liam Fox, who resigned last Friday clearly breached the ministerial code.

The cabinet secretary, Sir Gus O'Donnell strongly criticised Liam Fox for his working relationship with Adam Werrity, who met him on 18 foreign trips even though he did not hold an official position.

Dr Fox was cleared of making any financial gain through their relationship or breaching national security. But Sir Gus found he ignored clear warnings.
