The life of Livingstone
Speaking about Margaret Thatcher on the Andrew Marr Show, former Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone said she was "a remarkable person" and that he respected her because she was prepared to risk her career for something she believed in.
When asked whether he got on better with ideological people on the Right than with people in his own party, Mr Livingstone said he identified "with people who believe in something".
Ken Livingstone referred to how Gordon Brown was reluctant to meet him, even when he became Mayor of London. "The problem with Gordon was he just wouldn't meet. It was a bizarre thing."
