Labour: Executive pay plans 'do not go far enough'

Business Secretary Vince Cable has outlined a number of measures to curb excessive boardroom pay.

Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr Cable said he wanted greater transparency and more power for shareholders to veto big pay packets.

However, Shadow Business Secretary Chuka Umunna said the government's announcement on executive pay did not go far enough.
