Theresa May promises anti-social behaviour action

Home Secretary Theresa May has promised to make it easier for communities to force police to deal with anti-social behaviour.

In a speech in central London, she said a "community trigger" would prevent "horror stories of victims reporting the same problem over and over again".

She added that the government was already working with a number of local authorities to test the plan in practice, ahead of the launch of the summer pilot schemes.
