Cameron and Miliband praise soldiers killed in Afghanistan
The prime minister has paid tribute to six soldiers killed in the single worst enemy attack on UK troops in Afghanistan since 2001.
David Cameron told the House of Commons with "very great sadness" that the six were missing, believed killed, and added: "Our thoughts are with family and friends of these brave servicemen."
The PM was then questioned by Conservative MP Nick Boles about a "prudent drawdown" of forces in Afghanistan ahead of Mr Cameron's meeting with US President Barack Obama next week.
And Labour leader Ed Miliband echoed the prime minister's comments, adding it was a reminder of the sacrifice British service personnel made, and that it was important to restate the reason for the mission in Afghanistan.
