George Osborne: 'Working people are Budget priority'
Chancellor George Osborne has insisted his priority in Wednesday's Budget is to help low and middle income earners.
Speaking to the BBC's Andrew Marr, Mr Osborne said that "the bulk" of measures in his economic plans would be targeted to help working people and families.
The chancellor refused to either confirm or deny speculation that the 50p top rate of income tax for high earners would be be scrapped.
