Ken Clarke: ECHR must hear fewer cases
Justice Secretary Ken Clarke has said that he hopes fewer cases, and no "trivial" cases, will come before the European Court of Human Rights in the future.
His comments came after delegates from 47 countries signed a declaration on reforms to the court, which faced a backlog of nearly 152,000 cases at the end of last year.
