London mayor: Benita on schools and airport policies
Siobhan Benita said she was in fourth place in the race to be the next mayor of London as she claimed voters were disillusioned with party politics.
The only independent candidate in next Thursday's election appears to have backing for her stance backing a third runway for Heathrow Airport from Sir Richard Branson and Michael Portillo.
The former Labour supporter was not naming a candidate to get her second preference vote and was unable to say who would get her vote at the next general election, as she spoke of her career and plans for schools in the capital.
