'No specific threat' to Olympics, says Philip Hammond
Despite recent high-profile security exercises in London, the Defence Secretary Philip Hammond has confirmed there is no specific threat to the Olympic Games.
Mr Hammond told The Andrew Marr Show that organisers did not want security arrangements to dominate the Games and that the military would provide a background presence as "ultimate reassurance".
The defence secretary also revealed a no-fly zone around the Olympic Park, with the prime minister and a group of ministers "well rehearsed" to respond to the threat of any rogue aircraft.
