Cameron: Hunt 'acted wisely and fairly' in BSkyB role

David Cameron has once again defended the conduct of his culture secretary in relation to News Corp's bid for BSkyB.

Speaking on the Andrew Marr Show, the prime minister said Jeremy Hunt acted "wisely and fairly" when asked to adjudicate on the proposed takeover.

Earlier in the week Mr Hunt appeared before the Leveson Inquiry and admitted he was sympathetic towards the bid, but said that he acted impartially.
