MPs reject Jeremy Hunt BSkyB bid inquiry call

MPs have rejected a Labour call for an inquiry into whether Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt broke ministerial rules in dealing with News Corp's proposed takeover of BSkyB.

The motion was defeated by a majority of 38, with Liberal Democrat MPs ordered to abstain.
